Six Australians representing the Ballarat Dental Group and Rotary clubs from Ballarat (Victoria, Australia) have donated a container load of dental equipment and building supplies to help establish a dental clinic in Nukunuku (Tongatapu) and refurbish the Fofo’anga Kava Club. They have also out of their kind generosity donated school books, computers and toys to schools around Tongatapu.
The strategic position of the new dental clinic saves a lot of travel time and money for the locals from the Hihifo district. Now they don’t have to travel all the way into town to Vaiola Hospital to see a dentist.
The Fofo’anga Kava Club now has building materials to upgrade their club facilities.
