After all the talk of Willie Mason feeling unhappy with his Canterbury Bulldogs rugby league club, he has finally inked his deal for 3 years with the Sydney Roosters in the N.R.L. (National Rugby League).
Willie Mason whose mother is from Vava’u is a current Australian rugby league representative and is arguably one of the most damaging rugby league players in the world. If his previous accomplishments and form for the Canterbury Bulldogs are to go by then Willie Mason will surely shine at the Roosters where fellow Tongans - Lopini Paea (Mate Ma Tonga Captain), Mickey Paea, and Australian Representative, Anthony Tupou. His aggressive hitups and running will only enhance what the current crop of Tongans bring to their game - more power, more offloading capability and more size to their hard hitting mobile pack.
